Detail

Rep. Vanessa Grossl filed HB 92 on January 7, 2026; it cleared House committee unanimously on February 25 and was folded into HB 36, an omnibus interstate-licensure-compact act, on March 3, 2026. Kentucky RDs ran an action-alert campaign through final passage. HB 36 was signed April 6, 2026 as Acts Ch. 33; the enacted text creates new sections of KRS Chapter 310 to enter the compact, and adds background-check requirements to it.
