Detail
The first Pacific-coast state to join, and a significant break in a region where several states have no dietitian licensure at all. Passed the House 93-1 and the Senate 48-0, signed March 11, 2026. Note the effective date: July 1, 2028 — later than the 2027 the Commission expects for first privileges, so Washington dietitians should not assume day-one access.
