HB 145, sponsored by Reps. Jaci Grote and Hope Damon, paired the compact with background checks for licensed dietitians. The House Executive Departments and Administration Committee recommended it 9-6 with an amendment, and the full House voted 187-152 on March 26, 2025 to lay it on the table. It died there when the session ended on December 17, 2025. No compact bill was filed in 2026.
